this is true. i'm not a calvinist, but this is one of their values i agree with.

if we say it can be lost, that humans can walk away from the relationship, then it puts the power in our hands, which isn't how it's supposed to be.

since God calls us to be His own, we can know for sure that we will be His forever :)

i'll give a word picture: if you give a starving lion two choices, a plate of raw meat and a nice tossed salad, which will he eat? the meat, of course. does he have a choice? yes, he could have chosen the salad, but it's not in his nature.

same with humans. our nature is to sin, even after we've been saved. if given a choice, we will sin, unless we are in Christ, because through him we have strength. if we could lose our relationship with him, then we're saying He has no power to help us fight temptaion, which isn't true.

You have been correctly informed... when you receive God's Free Gift of Salvation you too will know The Truth.

All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of salvation. Those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.

Once Saved ALWAYS Saved

Once saved, always saved or if you can lose your salvation, were you really saved to begin with?

Hebrews

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Is there a line you cross from which you can never return?

A word to the wise: If there is, stay as far away from it as possible.

Matthew 24: 13 He that endures to the end is the one who will be saved.
So that sounds like to me we pretty much need to stay in good order.
Luke 21:34 But pay attention to yourself that your heart gets weighed down with over eating and heavy drinking and anxietys of life. and suddenly that day be instantly upon you.
so if you had to keep on the watch then you must not be saved for ever.

You cannot loose your salvation. The problem is that most people think they are saved just by saying they believe. The devils also believe, and tremble.

You cannot loose something you never had, and God does not loose one that He has given to His Son.

The doctrine of once saved always saved is erroneous error. People can fall away, backslide, and apostatize the faith.

"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame."

Hebrews 6: 4,5,6 is the UnPardonable Sin.

If your Scared that you have Committed this Sin, You Have Not.

People who commit this don't want Nothing to do with Jesus, Heaven, The Bible etc. anymore.

No, whoever taught you, WRONG. VERY WRONG. You can stray from the right path, then when you come back, you can be saved again. But it better be real.

When we come to know God, we have to make sure we walk close with him (close r/s with God), obey him.. if we backslide (left God).. we aren't saved.
