i have an abundance of picling cucumbers from my garder and i need some good canning/pickling recipies.

im looking for anything from dills to spicy.

The answer above sounds good, but throw some fresh dill in there! :-) Also some red pepper flakes if you like a little spice...but not too much...fresh sliced garlic too. Wow that's a lot of sugar...I would also leave out the green pepper and use much less sugar...

Green tomato pickles You cannot but these anywhere. ! pint sliced green tomatoes 4 onions,sliced Sprinkle 1/2 cup salt over& drain in colander all night. Put 2 cups vinegar and 2 cups sugar in kettle with Spice bag of 1 Tbs. cassia and cloves and a little dry mustard. When boiling, add the tomatoes & onions. Cook 1/2 hour until tender. You may add a chopped red pepper for color. This is a very old and good recipe

REFRIGERATOR PICKLES



3 qt. cucumbers, sliced thin
1 lg. onion, sliced thin
1 lg. green pepper, sliced
3 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
2 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed

Mix and store in large bowl in refrigerator. They will stay crisp.
