Talk to the recruiter, you don't need a college degree to get into WOC school, but it's helpful. You would go to basic training 1st, then go to WOC school in ft. rucker al. Depending on what you want to do, you would go from there. If you didn't want to be a pilot, and be a " walking officer", then it might be better to be active duty, learn your job, then put your packet it. Like i said, it really depends on if you want to fly or not, and you should really talk to a recruiter, and if they tell you that you can't do it, they're full of Sh*t. I have plenty of pilot friends that weren't in the army before becoming an WO. Good luck and make sure you dot all the I's and cross all the T's!

Great question. My husband was looking into doing this and wished he would have done it from the beginning.
Stranggore gave you the correct website. You should see a recruiter and see about going to a warrant officer conference. They will tell you all about it in one of those. If you get in, after Basic Training and all preschooling you will go to FT Rucker, AL for their training. You don't necessarily have to have college completed, but more like a promise to complete college. They start you off at a rank of W1. Before you can be a W2, you have to have your associates. I don't remember the rest of the school requirements but it goes a lot like that.
There is a flight test you will need to take, you can find the written material at the website mentioned above, I printed out the whole book for my honey, it took up a lot of paper, so if you print it, be prepared! You also have to have good scores on some test, I cannot remember the name, maybe it starts with a G, sorry, the husband isn't here for me to ask. Hope this helps. Later.

The only Warrant Officer job a civilan can enlist in the Army for is :
Rotary Wing Aviator
Then its very hard to get one of those slots.
They generally want them to have :
Two years of college and be a rated pilot already.
1.You must have a GT score of 110
2.Score 90 or higher on the Alternate Flight Aptitude Selection Test (AFAST)
3.Be Interviewed by an Army Aviator in the rank of CW3-5 or Major and above

pass the Flight Physical. the only direct accessions into the Warrant Officer Community are Helicopter Pilots. All others must enlist and rise through the ranks.

The requirements can be found here.
http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/
Some billets are only open to service members.
An example is CID Agent, 311A, which requires a rank of E-5 or above.
For current information contact a local recruiter at www.goarmy.com
(Although take anything they say with a grain of salt)
Hope this helps.........

its probably the easiest branch to become a warrant in. they have a special program in which, if you're already in, when you attain E-5 you can go in as a warrant.

It depends on the MOS still.
If it's a technical one (supply, etc) you have to be an E-5 to become a WO.
