This is a question that I have been trying to answer myself for many years. Every answer that I have ever received does not seem to have any merit; the reasoning always seems to lack any real legitimacy. This question and my thoughts about it are in my
"Book Of Things I May Never Understand"

Yes, I know that Christians believe in one God and that any other Gods before that one God is considered sinful and I accept and understand their belief. I also understand where Wiccans are coming from and there beliefs. I have also noticed that many Wiccans believe the God and Goddess work together and create and even bigger power--- now I don't want to offend anyone, but isn't that kind of similar to the almighty power of God than? Is it not possible that what Wiccans believe and what Christians believe is essentially the same thing, just that Wiccans break it down into all its elements? I know many Wiccans that believe Christ exists or existed and roamed the earth...

But these same people feel that all of nature is powerful and that there is a Goddess which rules over some things in nature and a God that rules over some others, but together they work as a team and create a bigger power to work for the greater good of mankind. I don't know, but when I start researching religions, it kind of seems like they really all believe the same thing(s) , they just word them differently.

Christianity teaches: Do unto others as you have them do unto you.

Wicca teaches: An it harm none, do ye will.

Really think about those statements, are they not really suggesting the exact same thing? I really think they are, but they're worded differently.

Another thing that bothers me, people that judge other religions without knowing a single thing about it. How can judge something as right or wrong if you haven't done your homework, if you haven't researched it?

Again, I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just something that weigh heavily on my mind!

Yep, when you break it down God is God is God is God is God. This however, does not account for human nature. Not sure if it is needing to be right, or needing others to be wrong - but in every theological position there are rationalists - and extremists. I've of the optimistic outlook that the majority of people, regardless of belief, see more similarities than differences. It is a case of the vocal minority raising a ruckus. 20% of believers raising 80 % of the stink.

The biggest battle is a birth right dispute between the Jews and the Muslims. the Jews claim Isaac inherited Abraham's wealth. The Muslims say because Ishmael was the first born it should have been his to inherit. Ishmael was not of pure tribal blood (he was born out of wedlock his mother was an Egyptian.) That is why he did not receive the wealth he felt he deserved. As for all the rest so many people like to think their belief is the only way. I prefer to let God make that decision it is not my job so I care about all humans no matter what they believe.

For many people religion is the foundation of their belief of what reality is. They wrap their self image into that belief system (you are a part of reality aren't you). When someone challenges that belief system it appears to be a personal attack to that person. Who is comfortable being told that what they believe to be real is fiction? Who among us can suffer a personal attack and turn the other cheek? Who wants to re-evaluate everything they have ever experienced in life in a different light? And most importantly, who among us enjoys and/or won't resist admitting that we are wrong about the conclusions we have arrived at through our own life experience?

Why does this question get ask every five minutes?

2 John 1
9. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11. For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

It's about politics not religion. Christianity became the Roman religion after the Edict of Milan to take back the western empire. Religion motivates people to back you and your political causes.

There can never be agreement at the level of "beliefs". Only when one reaches understanding and being, will acceptance of differences in others, be seen as necessary to one's own perfection.

Many religionists are convinced that those who don't believe as they do, are agents of the devil. For some reason they believe they are doing god a favor by killing these people.

It wouldn't be much of a fight if both sides agreed, would it?

Christians and Wiccans don't believe the same thing. It's not the same but different; it's different and wrong.
