I met this man who is 43 never married and we hit it off. We spent an entire weekend together and seemed to have chemistry. He led me to believe we should see one another again and he wanted to be my boyfriend. After our second visit another weekend together(he lived 230 miles from me) he now tells me he is not into A LDR and we have nothing in common or he is not comfortable with me. How can he not be since he had sex with me? I have to feel comfortable with someone to have sex with them.

He did enjoy the sex with me. Complimented me on how nice it was and all that. Im above 30! I was married for 15 yrs Im usually good with reading men. I just gave him a chance for I liked him. He is worthless

I wouldn't be comfortable with you either if you banged me on the first date. If he's 43 and not married, then he evidently has never felt comfortable with anyone, so you aren't any different than your predecessors.

I'll tell you like I tell my kids and friends. Sex is for marriage. No if's, and's, or but's. I agree with the other person's comment, "he got what he wanted". Haven't you heard, "why get married when you're giving them everything already". Plus, there's no commitment there. Why should he? There's also a reason why he's never been married. Because there are ladies out there, such as yourself, giving him everything he needs without making the commitment. I am like you. Sex has a meaning. But there are men (and women alike) that just view it as recreation.
Find someone else. And don't give it up to them until they've made a commitment to you. When one has sex, they are giving that person their heart and soul. Don't do that for just anyone, even if you feel "comfortable" with them.

The old goat was just looking for a hook-up to satisfy his own urges. You were dumb enough to be available.
Have enough sense to get to actually know someone for a while before getting physical. Know their history, meet their family. If it looks like they are just after sex, you put them off... if they leave, that is a good thing. Have some standards! Don't give it away!

dont you see he just wanted to get some and he's in his 40's and not married so that idea should have come first, so obviously he's a 40 year old guy who has commitment issues and just acted as if you had something in common to "get some" and after he got some he let you go. so he jus used you and you dont even realize it. he's a ***** and dont deserve you

obviously this time you have to search deeper pass words and into the soul. if he had chemistry with you before it was for your goodies. I' am not going to lie i once did it, not something I'am proud of but i did it, it's called " F*cking and forgeting" or "Loving and leaving" either way look deeper and you grow to learning, I advise people that love is not a game but you can get played. you'll know next time

Because he knew all along that he could pull the long distance card as an excuse to justify his doggish ways. He knew before he laid you down if he wanted to commit to you or not. He will get what's coming to him someday, you just have to be more careful next time.

He's a player, old, yet a player nontheless, I hate people like that, I guess that's why you have to meet them and really know them before you do anything first. I'm sorry, but I think he just wanted to have sex and never planned to go anywhere with this relationships, I know it hurts, i'm sorry.

Seems like he was playing you to get into your pants ( if you know what i mean ) or else he don't think your good in bed.
The same thing happened to me .. Next time pick someone who is comfortable with you before you go any farther .

Men have penises and little brains when it comes to using them. They don't care if they feel comfortable with you or not. If you're not hideous and you're willing to spread your legs for them, they're happy.
