Yes, I think God put them in that order for a reason. A small part of that reason could be this....Yahshua said 'Love God with all your heart mind soul and strength'...that pretty much takes care of the first FIVE commandments. He also said 'Love your neighbor as yourself'...which takes care of the last FIVE commandments. All 10 have spiritual implications, the first five are inwardly(loving God), whereas the last five are more outwardly(how we deal with others).

I am not a Catholic but based on the Ten Commandments, if we love God and love our neighbors, we will in result be following the Ten Commandments because there is no way that we would kill, steal, commit adultery, or covet after our neighbors possessions if we love them and love God.

No, I think it was given as a code of rules to follow to make our lives better. Adultry hurts the ones we love.
Lieing gets us into a lot of trouble.
So does stealing or murder.
We should take care of older people, that is a god given responsibility. It is our duty to see that they have an income.
They can live with dignity and health care.

One, two, three, four... and so on.
The number of commandments is arbitrary. 10's a nice round number, so it makes for a nice title. Different religious groups don't even agree on what all the commandments are. Catholics and Protestants have different versions.

the first five are between God and man
the next five are between man and man.
The reason the fifth has to do with God and man is the promise to have long life.

Not particularly. It wasn't God's intention to give us laws to keep, but to give us laws we couldn't possibly keep.
