Hi,
I am not a doctor or anything but I don't think this is a cause of cancer. I know now adays most anything causes cancer but I don't believe this is one. If anything I would think your skin may become irritated and maybe you should change what you are washing with. Ivory soap is supposed to be the most natural body wash. Good Luck.

There certainly isn't any evidence for that, but it is highly unlikely as it doesn't make much sense. Soap is not a carcinogen, and the skin is hydrophobic enough that too much of the soap would not diffuse into the membrane and into the tissues anyway.

no it won't cause cancer, just dry skin...it wouldn't hurt to let the water wash over you longer to get all the soap off...and if you are bathing in a tub, just rinse with the cloth and you will be fine...unless you use pure lye soap like they had in the very old days, you are fine...

No, and as for your other question No, except for some skin irritation (dry skin also), there is no serious diseases acquired from not washing off soap.

if you feel like you have soap scum on your skin you might have hard water and no it will not cause serious illness but it will dry out your skin and make you itch.
moisturize thoughly or get a water softener

No, i dont think so. But who knows, everything nowadays causes cancer. My guess is, it will probably just dry out your skin and make you itchy.

It isn't considered a major risk factor ....... But who can rule anything out these days?
Especially when we don't know what causes all cancers
