Now before all you religious people go nuts, hear me out. What I am asking is if you would really want to go to Heaven when you realize that you'll likely be pretty lonley. I mean, think about it. Plenty of people are NOT going to go there, they are going to be in Hell or Limbo. And, while considering this, these people who are not there will likely be your friends and family.

Therefore, if you go to Heaven and most of your friends and family do not, how would you feel knowing that they are in Hell or Limbo and suffering? One can just write, 'yes, I want to go to Heaven,' but does one consider the what may or may not be waiting for them there? You could be at peace yet most of the people you know will not be. So, now answer the question...

I see a lot of the responders cannot grasp the concept of this question. They've written "me and my friends, mom, etc., will be there," but will they? That decision is not up to you and you're answering this question ASSUMING that these people will join you in Heaven.

The simple fact is that such a decision is not up to you. I really wish people could answer a question after thinking it through and not on an assumption. Would you want to go to Heaven even if you were alone there? That is the question and, I guess, the scary answer is too much for most people.

Of course it bothers us that there are people going to hell. Why do you think we try to "convert" you? Even though you are perfect strangers, we don't want to see that happen. There are few people, even throughout history, that I would wish that upon. Do I really want to go to Heaven? Oh, yes, I can't wait....! I would love for you to join me there.

There is no loneliness in the presence of God. Plus, there will be millions of people there, from throughout the ages. I can't wait to converse with David, Solomon, the apostles, Paul, Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Edwards and those who were martyred for their faith. Loneliness will not be a problem in Heaven.

Heaven is a place where you go if you die before Jesus returns
Then we will all be with him in his Kingdom on earth
I want to be with Jesus, the Holy Angels and God the Father
All the millions who have already gone
You will not be human there, so you will not think like you do now

I want to go to Heaven to be with Jesus as for others I try to live in such a way that they will want to go to but in the end it is their decision.

assuming you mean Heaven, a place for dead christians,
it would be a terrible place, full of smug self righteous hypocrites. I'm glad it only exists in the imagination of these pathetically ignorant peasants.
At least when your dead and gone you don't have to put up with such nonsense

I've been told that somehow in Heaven you just completely forget that you have loved ones who are suffering eternal torment. It's like they just never existed in your mind.

To me, that would be worse than hell.

If you will take the time to read the Acts of the Apostles, and Revelation, you will realize who goes to Heaven, why, and how many.
That it is a spiritual place, and God does the choosing of who lives and reigns with Jesus.

The only people I really want to see in Heaven are the people that I see around me. Okay, maybe a couple of others. Whether or not you go matters to me not.

Yes I want to go to heaven.I want to see the new heaven and the new earth and I want to see all the wonders that await us.Everyone has that chance its our own free will that we use to make that choice. There won`t be quilt there and there won`t be pain or any of the suffering that we see now.

Who says I'm not in heaven already? Do you REALLY know where heaven is?
Read Luke 10. Then consider this statement:
'That which you bind on earth, you bind in heaven. That which you loose on earth, you loose in heaven.'
Do you really think heaven is that far away from you?
