The opposite of bulimia and anorexia would probably be compulsive overeating, which happens a lot in the United States. That's probably why most of the population is overweight.

You're only 17, you'll fill out soon enough. I don't know the exact scientific cause of it seems like most people magically gain some pounds after high school. It could be due to a change in hormones, your body matures, or you become more sedentary after high school. Ever heard of the freshmen 15? That's the extra weight caused by a change in eating habits and change in environment when a student enters college. It's very real and it happens to most college students. Don't stress now...you'll get there soon!

the opposite of bulemia and anorexia is gluttony.. you just have a very high metabolism.. you do not want to slow it down.. you are much better off being slim and a bit under weight than being overweight. You can gain weight by building muscle.. you do not want fat.. you want muscle.. look it up on line.. and see what the experts reccomend for gaining muscle.. you will be so much better off and feel so much better that you won't be selfconcious anymore.. be proactive with your health.. get muscle power in stead of fat stuff.. good luck..

Hi,
It's funny because you are complaining how skinny and tall you are, while others will complain if they have meat to their body and are short. If I were you try working out to build muscle. There isn't much you can do about being tall but maybe by building some muscle mass will help with you being skinny. I have a feeling one day you will be happy though with your skinny body. Good Luck.

Anorexia & Bulimia aren't the only eating disorders out there. Technically, over eating and thinking you are too thin is a disorder as well. Depending on your height & weight, you may just be self concious, but I doubt it is as bad as you think it is.

I'm not sure what the techincal term is, but there are those out there who don't like being too skinny. What I would suggest to you is start doing muscle building exercises. You won't be fat, but you will be toned and that looks better.

Have you have asked any body if they thought you were too skinny? May you are not really that bad? Yes, speak to a doctors if it really bothers you. You should talk to a doctor about healthy way to gain weight and what she/he thinks about the situation.
