if you r happy with the person and both understand each other but due to some reasons marriage is not a possibility

Unless there is some law against it, marriage is never out of the question. If there is a law, they usually have some sort of domestic partner registration you could do.

Live in relationships are a poor stand in for a marriage. As stupid as it might seem, that little piece of paper is very important.

For example: What happens if the person you live with dies? Unless you are married to them or are a registered domestic partner, you have no control of what goes on. You also have no medical control if they are in a horrible accident and need surgery.
