But they take turns yakking in my ear. I want to take her side, because I am a woman and I can relate to some of her concerns... but I take his side because he is my brother and I love him, however I'm so sick of both of them. How can I tell them (without hurting there feelings) that they are draining me emotionally. Her parents and my parents are deceased, it seems like they have no one else to vent to, but me..

For the longest time my brother and his wife would tell me their version of whatever argument is going on at the moment. They would both tell me things that they did not tell each other. I finally told them both, while they were together, that they really need to start "talking" to each other because both had very valid points and while one is talking, really listen to what the other is saying to try and see the point that the one talking is trying to make..
It took them awhile to get accustomed to this idea, but ya know what.... now they "talk" to one another and leave me the heck out of it now :) It seems like they are happier and are a lot more open with each other!

I am sure they both have other friends they can talk to. Tell them the truth, both at once so one doesn't think you are taking the others side. Tell them you love them both and you want them to be alright but they are draining you. You can not worry about hurting their feelings and if you do a little they are family and will get over it but they won't stop til you make it stop. Tell them you feel like the kid in the middle of two fighting parents if that helps.

Good Luck!
