Ok i have really embarrassing gas problems, but i only get them when i am at school or when i'm nervous or tense (like when i'm with the girl i have a crush on which really sucks). It happens during class all the time and has pretty much ruined my social life. I don't think its IBS because i dont have any problems going to the bathroom, dont have cramps, or any symptoms except really bad gas. Gas-X and other antacids dont seem to work, what can i do to make it stop?

Try and watch what you eat. Make note of what foods you ate during the day and how you react. As your list grows, you might see a trend and choose your future meals wisely.

I'd try oatmeal(made with water) for breakfast and take soda and chewing gum completely out of your diet for about 2 weeks, see what that does for you.

My theory is: you probably skip breakfast alot, chew gum cause you get bad breath cause you didnt eat in the morning, therefore fooling your stomach that foods on the way which in turn stimulates stomach acids to get fired up causing excess gas and then to top it off you down soda cause you need that caffeine/sugar rush to get you some energy through the day.

It late so I got a little carried away with my assumptions but Im thinking I could be pretty close.

good luck with the honeys!

get this in your mind and never forget it.. gas is caused by undigested SUGARS..thats it.. whatever you are getting the sugars from should be easy for you to figure out.. instead of trying to treat the problem with gas-x and the like.. get to the source.. figure it out and stop eating so much of the stuff.. it is that simple.. examine what you are EATING OR DRINKING.. eliminate the source..and you eliminate the problem..UNDIGESTED SUGARS..remember starch is sugar.. potatos are fulll of starch, so are beans, and other such vegetibles.. stop eating those foods with high sugar and starch content.. and you will stop..gassing everyone.. instead of being flatuous you can be flirtuous.. good luck

Gas-X would be my suggestion followed by Malox, but since they don't seem to work, I'd call your doctor.

Check with your Dr., there should be something you can take. Could be from nerves or maybe lactose intolerance.
