Technically, you're in a great weight range, sweetie. You may gain a little weight with tennis because you are packing on muscle (which is heavier than fat). But as long as you keep an eye on it and don't gain more than 10 more pounds, you'll be fine.

If you are disappointed in your body, it might be more of a flab issue than a fat issue. Try doing sit-ups, leg-lifts and weight training. Ask your coach for advice. But whatever you do, don't starve yourself. You need the food for beautiful hair and skin, and the energy to do the sport.

Really, though, ask your coach. S/he is trained in nutrition and body matters!

you sound like a healthy weight for someone 5'5". Losing 15 lbs. would not be healthy for you. If you want to tone up then try lifting weights and doing a little cardio (run on a tread mill) that will help you look better and more toned up...please don't try to lose any weight. You sound healthy

eat lots of celery, you burn more calories digesting it than it has in it, plus its tasty and really good for you!
eat white meat alot and drink a pint of water every time you feel hungry, if you still feel hungry after the drink, eat!

go running in the morning every day! before your BREAKFAST! which is very important! but one high in fibre and complex carbohydrates, such as bran flakes!

Get a good nites sleep every night because lack of sleep can make you gain weight!

So can skipping breakfast

Snack, but also drink lots of water!

Be creative with exersise, for example,DDR , or go hiking, dont just starjump unmotivated in your living room

Stay positive,, putting your self down will lead to failure and stress eating!

enjoy!
