No, i do no longer think in a "soul". We do have a unsleeping, the experience of suitable and incorrect. all of us understand what's sturdy and what's incorrect, those individuals who have self assurance in self progression stress the incredible and ward off the incorrect. It would not take a preacher to let us know the version. it incredibly is all interior the Gilden Rule. it incredibly is been shown one thousand circumstances that non-believers, on the typical, are on the precise of the intelligence ladder, the precise of the earning ladder, the ethical ladder, and are the leaders in each and every walk of existence. The poorer the country, the extra non secular the individuals. The poorer the guy, the extra non secular he's. the less clever, the extra non secular. of direction, that would not recommend each and each man or woman - - - yet take averages.

Why bother asking a question when it's clear you aren't really interested in hearing an answer?
For anyone else who does care, a large number of atheists believe that they have souls--they just don't define "soul" the same way a religious person does.

No soul.
We differ from machines in that we are alive and have brains. Robots cannot think.
My non belief in souls or god has nothing to do with not being able to see either one.
Humans indeed have emotions but they are not caused by souls nor are they visible to anyone.

First, you can believe in a soul and not in God. Don't lump all Atheists together.
Feelings and thoughts come from their proper places in the brain. In doing a progressive brain scan, we can see that.
And as for a soul, what proof do you offer?

noo i dont believe in a soul. not because i cant see it but because i just dont believe it. i dont buy it. i dont believe in any sort of life after death so i dont believe in a soul. it has nothing to do with being able to see it and everything to do with what you feel is true. i feel there is no soul. call me a human robot, i dont care i am still a human.

"do you really believe that you have no soul?"
No, but I DON'T believe I have A soul. There's a difference. My stance on souls is the same on gods: "until there is proof/evidence, I'm not going to act like it exists."
"so what make you different than any machine?"
Uh, machines are not conscious nor sentient, and we are. Consciousness has nothing to do with "souls," and everything to do with our brains.
"so because you can't see your soul, you will not believe in it?"
Not only that we can't see it--but we can't perceive it in ANY objective, verifiable way (we can't see gravity, but we CAN perceive it in such a way, to contrast). Obviously sight is not the only criterion, or else we wouldn't "believe" in magnetism either. :P

So, you believe in things that you can't see, believe "They" are controlling the universe, that someone watches your every move and that of everyone else and you listen voices in your head because someone, 2 000 years ago, heard the same voices you did...
... And I'm an android trying to take over the world...

Of course. Souls, spirits, gods, demons, angels, devils, and the like are all superstitions.
Yes, we are human robots. Our brains are huge organic computers. Our brains have thoughts. Thoughts are processes of the brain. Emotions like anger, love, hate, jealousy, and mercy are types of thoughts. They are only defined, really, as symptoms. They aren't really defined as things that you can see. You only see their symptoms. It would be like seeing a process in a computer. You can't really do that, either, other than its symptoms on the screen. It's effects. You don't see the bits inside.

"feelings inside of us from anger, love, hate, jealousy, mercy"
Aaahh; now I understand - your InvisibleSkyCritter is just an invisible feeling; an emotion.
Wow; for all these years I was under the misapprehension y’all believed that the critter was an entity.
Thanks for teaching me your truth *dripping sarcasm from every letter and invisible nuance*.
As I said; I come here for the comedy and, especially the comedy from xians who have no idea they're not really bright but more so that they have no idea they're making me grin.
Thank YOU!

I can show and experience emotions.
A soul (consciousness), just like the flame of a fire, has the illusion of reality but it is just a result not a reality unto itself. A flame is a result of a chemical reaction JUST LIKE consciousness is; neither can exist without the chemical reaction that they are the result of.
