Do you know a good recipie for homemade Sangria?

Sangria is so tasty... but I've never made it myself. Anybody have a good recipie?

I have two recipes for you, depending on your taste for either red or white sangria. Hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

Five Fruit Sangria
1 bottle red wine
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 cup triple sec
1/2 cup sugar
1 6 oz bottle club soda
1 orange
1 lemon
1 lime
1 red apple
1 peach
_____
1. Cut all fruits into wedges and put into a pitcher. Add in rest of the ingredients and stir well.
2. Refrigerate for 2 hours or more.
3. Serve over ice.



Fruity Sangria Blanca
1 bottle white wine
3/4 cup peach-flavored brandy
6 tablespoons thawed lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup sugar
8 oz sliced peaches
1 cup sliced green grapes
1 cup sliced red grapes
_____
1. Mix together the wine, sugar, brandy, and lemonade.
2. Add in the fruits and refrigerate overnight.
3. Serve over ice.

This is my personal sangrilla recipe, most people balk at it the first time they hear what it's made with, but very quickly convert (I can't go to any parties without having to make a batch of it).

1 bottle cheap-ish sweet red wine. (DO NOT USE A DRY WINE)
A large measure of Triple Sec (or Cointreau) to taste (I usually go with about 1/4-1/2 cup)
2 oranges, sliced.
2 lemons, sliced.
1 lime, sliced.
1-2 cinnamon sticks.
1 2L bottle of Coca-Cola (this is where people balk).

Mix everything except the coke and let it refrigerate for at least 2 hrs. Add coke. Serve.

It's a little bit more sweet with Coke, but you can get away with using cheaper red wines.

I call it "Cheap Out Sangria"

get a cheap red (Charles Shaw Merlot works nicely)

Get a six-pack of Squirt or grapefruit soda

Get an orange and some orange juice (I preper pulpy)

Pur the bottle into a large pitcher. Add two-and-a-half cans of grapefruit soda.

Put in two ounces of OJ. layer with orange slices.

I like to chill it beforehand. tasty (You may need to experiment to get it to the proper sweetness level)
