If a guy friend said this...would it be a come on to the girl?
My guy friend was in my room using my computer. I trusted him to be a gentleman...and he was. But this part makes me wonder what he was REALLY thinking.
He saw my cat sitting on my bed. He said "Does the cat always sleep on your bed?" I said yes.
Then he asked "Is that all the pillows you sleep on?" I said yes.
He said "If I was in that bed, I'd need more pillows."
I asked him "Are you in my bed?"
He said "No, I'm just saying if I was."
So what do it sound like to you?

"Id need more pillows" sounds like a come on to me, sort of.

You need to ask, he was looking for you to initiate from the prompts he laid out for you to hint or bluntly allow himself into your bed. Maybe? Signs where not very clear from you question.
