Of course you will lose water weight during a run, but if you're smart you'll drink more than what you lost just to survive.

1. Always run in the shade
2. Stop AT LEAST every 20 minutes for water
3. Run long and slow (conversational pace)
4. Run or walk for at least an hour so your body will burn fat rather than glycogen.

Good Luck

tomorrow?! you lost weight when you got home. Whenever I come back from a long run or a XC practice i weigh almost 5lbs less than when i started and i have to get all that weight back by drinking water, gatorade and eating otherwise my body won't be very happy. I weigh myself before and after almost every run and then at the very end of the day and by the end of the day my weight is the same as it was at the beginning.

water weight will return to you the moment you drink water again after your run and if you don't drink water you will get sick and eventually die. this is because water weight is the maximum amount of water your body can store and you want to have as much water as you can store so you are well hydrated and functioning.

~stopping for water too often (even every 20 min) can lead to cramps and pain and if you consume too much water and continue to excersise you are likely to get a condition known as water intoxication where your body has too much water that it cannot get rid of fast enough and not enough sodium. this condition results in death

yeah in weather that hot you re going to lose some weight in water. best thing is keep hydrated with water so that you can run again to lose that weight. Also depends how far you re running and how much water weight you will lose.

oh dont worry about water weight, especially wen you are running. im an avid runner as well in a hot urban setting. dont worry about it. the amount of energy and sweat u put out will take care of the water afterwards. just make sure you are drinking enough.
