I asked a friend from high school who is a girl what girls liked in guys and she give the usuall answer about confidence and what not but still to be your self. she also said "youre so sweet im sure youll meet a girl in no time!" is it bad for a guy to be called sweet? Was this a good or a bad thing?

Personally, I love sweet guys. They're rare, and hard to find, because most guys put up that really fake "I'm so fly, who needs to be nice" kind of act. It's irritating. I find it refreshing to meet a sweet genuine guy.
As long as you're honest, I don't see this as a bad thing. As for the "friend zone" issue which people are bound to touch upon, sweet guys are not always in the friend zone, and in fact are usually the ones us girls secretly crush on. Even if you are worried about this, as long as you're honest about how you feel, there's nothing to be ashamed of.
Don't worry. Be happy that she told you this. It means that you're a good guy. Any future girlfriends would be lucky to have you.

Well it depends on her face. If you think she was like Ohhhh!!! You so sweet, I'm sure you'll meet a girl in no time!!! And she was like really serious. Then its a good thing. Or if her ''air'' was really like Yea...your so sweet, im sure you'll meet a girl...in no time! That should be bad but it can be good too. Well maybe it just 1% sure if it's bad and 99% good.

Its good, that means you have a good chance with girls if they call you sweet. other things that most girls don't admit sometimes, is how cute a guy is, also his attitude. some girls like myself like the funny really sweet, nice, popular, cute and outgoing kind of guys. if your not like that, well i'm sure you'll still find sum 1 becuz sumtimes girls only judge guys by their emotions. and how sweet they are.

I can't tell from the question about the type of relationship you have or anything...but it sounds good to me. don't think she was saying you were too sensitive or something, just that you were kind. it also probably seemed like you were a little low in confidence in that area since you asked her and she's trying to be encouraging! don't examine it too much!and if you're not being yourself than how are you gonna keep up with the lies you're telling?

It's your friend trying to help you build up your self-confidence.
this on the other hand is a bad thing when a girl you are trying to hook up with say's you are such a nice guy that you remind her of her brother. [but I guess you knew that]

dude that wasnt an insult, it was a compliment. a sweet guy can get a girl in no time. my bf is the sweetest and he still knocks me off my feet. :)
