Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

We all should follow Jesus actions, but we all are still learning and progressing little by little. That's why we need several lives, because only one is not enough to embrace everything Jesus taught us. Eventually, all of us will be there, though.
I tell others about my love for Him and about the example He gave us. I don't tell others He died for my sins, because I think I will pay for my sins one way or the other. However, I tell others that we should forgive our enemies as Jesus forgave us, because as He said "we don't know what we are doing".
Peace!

If the question is how will I know? I know in my heart and in my thoughts. If it is how will I show it. It will be in my actions. Whether it be kindness, generocity, patience or a verbal witness. That is what I will do. Some will want to listen and others won't. If you want to know if I will shove down someone's throat? Then no.

Others will know I'm a Christian by the love I have for others. Jesus is the one who gives me love for others. Otherwise, there would be little love from my own being. Christ's love overflows into me and with that, I'm able to love others.
He that does not really love others cannot fully understand God's love.

You will know you truly believe inJesus Christ when you reject the Christian Cult that is brainwashing you and unlike them, actually accept his teachings rather than doing the opposite...
My motto.... "HONK IF YOUR JESUS, otherwise shut up."

i believe in god and i dont go around preaching....so no you dont have to tell others unless they ask you....show HIM that you believe by praying to him every night.....tell him that you sinned and your sorry, that you love him, and that your so greatful for everything he does for you! And no sometimes your actions will not follow....we all do something bad every now and then but when you do pray and ask for forgiveness....god will always forgive you and love you unconditionally because you are his child!!!

If you really believe in Him will your actions follow? Will you go and tell others what He did for you?"
In John chapter 3 Jesus is talking with Nicodemus a religious leader of his day. He starts out by telling him that a person must be born again or “born from above”” by the Holy Spirit if they expect to see the Kingdom of God. He goes on to describe his mission here on earth saying that “as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.” Most people understand that Jesus was talking about being lifted up on a cross where He would pay the sin debt for those who believe. What escapes many people is the significance of the comparison Jesus was making between what He was going to do and the incident He was describing from the Old Testament.
In Numbers 21 the Israelites whom God had rescued from their bondage in Egypt were complaining and rebelling against God because they were not happy about the long journey to the promised land. God sent fiery serpents among the people and if someone got bit they would die the painful death that accompanies being bitten by a poisonous snake. Moses interceded for the people and God told him to make a bronze serpent and to hold it up on a pole so that all who looked upon it would be saved.
Imagine the scene. A person realizes that they are going to face a horrible death because they are under the judgment of God. The snake venom is already at work in their body but they look at the serpent and are cured. When Jesus was talking about believing in Him the idea is that a person realizes that because of their sins they are under God’s judgment and a horrible and eternal death awaits them. They feel the conviction of their sins and realize that the wrath of the Holy and Righteous God of Heaven is upon them. They know that they have to turn from (repent of) their sins and look to (follow, obey) the Lord Jesus for their salvation.
People who claim to be Christians but who show little or no evidence of a changed life are like someone who heard that it was flu season and so they went and got a flu shot. The person who gets a shot goes back to their everyday life and doesn’t worry about the flu anymore. A person who makes a true confession of faith is like a person who was on death row and at the last minute as they were getting ready to throw the switch the phone rang and they were saved by a pardon from the Governor. The person on death row is extremely grateful for their life and they decide that they are never going to do what led to them being on death row in the first place. More than that, the experience changes them so much that they can’t help but want to tell others about it and to warn people who are going the way that they once went.
In 2 Cor 13:5 Paul tells them to “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you fail to meet the test!”

Get a statue of Jesus and ask yourself. Would you pee on him if someone gave you a million bucks? Note: this won't work if your toilets broken and you really gotta pee.

its something that you feel in your heart. if you honestly belive that you have taken Jesus Christ as your savior, and if you know that he saved you from sins, then you can be sure that you have a place in Heaven, right next to the Lord.
p.s.
