I honestly can't say. I think that one I would consider would be to talk to my sister who passed away 9 yrs ago one more time. I would tell her just how much I love her and how I miss her and how she was a blessing to everyone around her. God Bless.

I read some of these answers, and I think that mine is kind of selfish. So I will change mine but keep it on the same note. I would pray that my dad could say the same thing to his dad, who died 5 years back. I know that my dad really misses him, but he doesn't like to talk about it. So I think that he would like that. God Bless.

that my brother would realize there is a God. I've never known anyone personally such as my brother that grew up loving God and then in high school dropped everything he believed and became this atheist who has such a strong hate for those that believe in God! My brother and I are close I'm the only one that knows this and I promised him I wouldn't tell our parents now I really regret making that promise I try so hard to talk to him but all I get is wow your stupid ha what God?! I really want him to become a christian again I just cant stand the fact that once he dies I'll never see him again I'm super worried because he drinks and drives trips acid and drives and he's going to get in an accident! I still pray but I just dont believe anymore he'll change back. I try not to think about this a lot but I cant avoid it and now I'm really crying because I never have really told anyone so please pray for him.

I no longer believe there is a god, Christian, Jewish, Muslim or otherwise, but if I could have had a prayer (wish) answered, it would be to send an angel, a truly magnificently miraculous angel into my life. I never dared dream of such a fantasy, or how it might change my life, but the prayer I never prayed, the wish I never dared formulate came into being in the form of my wife of 7 years. I suffered from chronic, severe depression throughout my life from my earliest childhood memory until it was finally diagnosed at 38. Drugs helped for a time, but they too lost their effectiveness. My wife, who risked a great deal of security and happiness to leave the Philippines to be my wife in 2000, has turned my life around in a way that can only be called miraculous! She is Catholic, and I believe HER faith, not mine, was instrumental in her decision to marry me, and in her effect on me. My unspoken prayer has been answered 100 times better! Thanks for listening.

Oh I know what I would pray for. First I would pray for answers to all my questions from age one to age 73 from the silly and foolish to the serious. Second for the intelligence to understand the truth of all issues ever encountered by man. Third to see and enjoy what world peace would be like. Forth to spend eternity with those I have loved and those who have loved me. Fifth and final for all to enjoy the same.

Does God Answer Prayers?

The answer is yes, no, and wait. If God answered every prayer from everyone who asked, God would become our own personal genie. Basically we would just have to tell God our wish and he would grant it to us. This is not biblical to think all prayers will be answered. If God answered every prayer the world would turn in to a big mess. God knows what is best for us.

Here are some conditions that God has for our prayers:
1) We are to ask in God’s name. This means we need to ask in God’s will. God’s will is what ever glorifies God. The bible says, “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. (John 14:13,14)
2) God cannot hear us if there is sin in our hearts. If we are living a life that we are being convicted of and do not repent of our sins, God will not hear our prayers. Our prayers will only be heard when we repent to God and turn from our sins. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. (Psalm 66:18)
3) God will not answer us if we do not have faith that God will hear and answer our prayers. We need to also have faith that God knows best for our lives and will not answer the prayers that will hurt us. There is always a reason for answered and unanswered prayers. We will not always understand this but God does. Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)
4) We need to ask in God’s will. If we ask in prayer for the wrong motives our prayer will not be answered. When you ask, you do not receive; because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. (James 4:3)
Sometimes we need to wait and know God will answer when the time is right. When we ask God in prayer, our prayers will not always be instant. Now days everyone wants things instant. This is not how God works. The Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. (Luke 18:6-8)

I don't think that you had a selfish prayer at all. I'm sure your sister would have wanted to hear it as much as you want to say it. I don't think that I would pray for something,it might mess up anything that God had planned for me.God Bless.

Aww, that's so sweet.

Any prayer.... well I think this is too big, but I'd pray that everyone in the entire world would accept Christ - but since Satan is able to do as he pleases right now, there will always be unbelievers on this earth. I guess we just gotta wait for heaven. :)

With God ALL things are possible!! Matt.19:26
I would ask that the war would be stopped, that our soldiers would come home, and that our country would confess their sins and turn back to God.

I am sorry for your loss. I truly believe that your sister knows how much you love and miss her. I lost my father 25 years ago and prayed to God that if my father knew how much I love and miss him, to show me a lady bug. My father always loved lady bugs in the garden. Shortly after my prayer, I began to see lady bugs everywhere!

Peace to you.

I would pray that he could convince the world that there is no such things as him or any other god and that we would be responsible for our own decisions.
