You can hemorrage from too much Coumadin, but it helps to protect from a blood clot forming because of his Atrial fibrillation.
Could the Klonopin be too much for him? It's a benzodiazepine anti-anxiety (and a mild anti-epileptic). Many people have said its effects feel much stronger than its fellow bezodiazepines:Xanax or Avitan.
If the Cardizem(a calcium-channel blocker) isn't controlling or improving his irregular heart beat, maybe they could transfer him over to a beta-blocker ,like propanolol(brand name Inderol).
About the legal problems......Look for an attorney that deals with special needs (sometimes elder law specialists also deal with special needs clients or their guardians).

What do you mean that he is not well? One answer that you already have is that if you feel this way you can have him moved to another facility. However, the co-administration of Coumadin ( to block the Vit K/Thrombin Mechanism of Clot formation) and Aspirin (to reduce platelets and also thus stop clot formation as well as the need for a cardioprotective) is sometimes sound treatment. For example if there is a carotid stent or there was a recent carotid endarterectomy. Also noting that he is taking Cardizem ( a Calcium Channel blocker) is saying that a cardioprotective is necesssary.
As long as his weekly or other routine protimes and INRs are within the 2.0-3.0 INR range and the platelet level from the aspirin (81-162 mg daily, presumably) is within (the lower part of) normal boundaries, the treatment is not unreasonable. But all this depends upon why "he is not well".
Good Luck.

Too much Aspirin and Coumadin affects the clotting factor and could lead to bleeding. Aspirin 81 mg. is usually prescribe to help avoid stroke and Coumadin thins the blood to avoid blot clot.

There is a simple lab test that can determine if he is recieving too much aspirin or coumadin. It's a PT or prothrombine time. I'm sure his doctors are already monitoring this, but you can surely ask. Be aware, though, that if your brother cannot make his own decisions and someone besides yourself was made his POA (power of attorney), they legally cannot give you this info.

Both Coumadin and Aspirin are blood thinners. If he were to cut himself he could bleed to death much more quickly.
If you feel he is being mishandled remove him from the facility. The family should be able to do that. And put him in another one after consulting with a new doctor.
