In order to understand what heaven looks like, I would have to die and them come back and tell you, wouldn't I? So therefore I connot give you a description.
But understand this about that question: Flip the coin.
Is hell overrated? Maybe the "lake of fire and eternal suffering is just a myth? Ah, but what if it isn't? What if it really exists within the relm of death? What if, when you do die, that "Deluxe apartment in the sky" is really there? And if it is there, it's plausible that the other is there too, eh?

Well, Muslims pretty much ruined the whole 100 virgins idea... they made it all dirty... only way to get that is to detonate yourself.
Otherwise, heaven is a pretty solid gated community, but if you forget the code you have to go get Peter... that guy is always doubting... it take almost three times to ask him in before he lets you. Once in, you meet Jesus. Solid guy, but he's pretty much like Joe Namoth at this point... drunk all the time because he peaked too early.
One thing I'd like to see... Holy Spirit... always here about God and Jesus, but not enough about the completor of the trinity... that would be huge.
A few other perks of heaven... You can watch the Packers and you won't need a coat... your bar tab never has to be paid... since you know... you'll never move... and chris farley is going to make you laugh all the time.

The purpose of life is to provide opportunities for each of us to self-select whether we want another life (even better than this one) or to be turned off, obliterated, sent to eternal non-existence. You need to seriously consider this question.
Doubts about the existence of heaven are natural and OK, but to not even desire LIFE is a ticket straight to the second death (which is final). What kind of life do you have that you can't imagine a better one?
Not believing that there is a heaven is one thing but not being tempted to believe that's really over the top.

First, heaven is not going to be harps and clouds and soft music. When we get to heaven and see the face of God, our only reaction will be to fall down and worship at His feet. When we see the holiness and beauty that is God, we will desire nothing more than to worship and praise Him. We will fellowship with other believers and bask in the glory of God and praise Him forever. Eternity is a long time. You can read the book of Revelation to get a tiny glimpse of what it will look like. It will be the greatest thing anyone can imagine. In addition, there will be no sadness, sorrow, tears, night, anger, frustration, or problems. Only happiness and our Lord and Savior.

There is no such thing as heaven or hell. Christianity was started by those who disagreed from wiccans connection with the earth missleading wiccans for witchcraft. Christianity and the whole..... good and evil, god and satan is a mad made religion as a sad excuse to over ride and to get rid of those who actually had the right idea. Everytime someone is right..someone has to come along and knock you off your horse with a bad attitude..thats all the religions created. They are all man made..vain and selfish.

on the grounds that God is eternal, there are eternal opportunities (no longer merely what you're sure to in theory in this Earth). Heaven sounds somewhat relaxing and thrilling once you think of approximately it! the better area is which you get to spend eternity with the daddy, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. as properly that.... there is wine and needless to say beer (flowing like rivers), the excellent nutrients you are able to think of, you are able to trip a hundred (or possibly 1000 foot waves in case you desire to), trip t-rexes, detect the universe and its mysteries, and there is probable even sexxxxxxx there (by way of fact it is the main intimate type of touch we've). Hell is fairly lots the different. No beverages. No relaxing and no exploring. merely discomfort and suffering. and there is actual no sexxxxxxxx.

No, it is not.
Heaven is going to be a place where I have a new body that is perfect. I will see all my loved ones who are already there.
I will receive answers to questions about my life that I do not know now.
I will not have this disease. I will know WHY certain things happened.
I believe I will do all the things I love to do on Earth. I will love fully. I will understand what I do not understand now.
I don't think it will be all hymn singing and such, although that will be part of it. I see it as total bliss.
Thank you for the opportunity to think about this.

No, Heaven is not overrated, Jesus Christ died on a cross so we could be there with him in heaven, He died for our sins, if we confess our sins to him and believe he rose from the grave the third day, we can ask him to come into our heart and save us. Only thru Jesus can anyone get to Heaven, where there is no more pain, or sorrow or death. In Hell their willbe PAIN all day long everyday for eternity.

It is certainly better than the alternative, which is burning in a lake of fire, and being eaten by the "worm which never dies", and having your body ripped asunder by rabid beasts, and much more. What is your worst fear? Hell can be tailor made, but heaven is made for all believers the same, which is paradise.
