God does not want us to cast our pearls at swine. Yes there opinions are meaningless. They are created beings and feel they know more than there creator. That is ignorant.

It would be unfair to classify the opinions of atheists as irrelevant. Since their "truth" is not your "truth" If you are talking about irrelevance in expressing opinions about principles founded in the bible then yes since they are using a book they don't necessarily believe in as a foundation for their argument but if you are talking about irrelevance when it comes to matters of what they believe about faith and life then no since their arguments are not based on christian principles. To use the bible in a discussion with an atheist as the foundation to discuss their beliefs is to introduce irrelevant material since you cannot use material they do not believe in as the basis of your argument. In other words, it depends on the topic being discussed and who uses what. Besides the phrasing of your question is incorrect is it right to say that "athiest reject truth" truth about what? You need to specify. Are we to take for granted that you mean truth about bibical matters? if it is then your "truth" is not necessarily their "truth"

Heyyyy, Piiillgrriiiiim....
Man, you have had some interesting posts. One of your earlier posts:
"It's politically correct to be tolerant. Christians have been fooled into thinking they should be tolerant too
If Christians should be "tolerant", if we should "hate the sin but love the sinner", does that mean we should tolerate sodomy? Sex with children? Murder? Abortion?"
Dude, why the fire and brimstone fascination? Why so severe? What do you mean by "Christians have been fooled into thinking they should be tolerant ".......
Who gave you the authority to suggest that anybody's opinion is irrelevant??
I think you may have some deep issues, unless you just write these outlandish posts to watch the reaction....

Reject no man for their belief or non-belief. They are entitled to their own opinions, without criticism or discrimination.
However, those who have decided that only atheists understand science or make contributions to the world are egotistical and need not be listened to. Those who ridicule others for believing in God, should be ignored. They are not open to discussion..

...oh, sorry, that IS the question?
Then I would answer it depends on the subject matter. For instance, if you were consulting an atheist as an interior decorator or an employment consultant or something dependent on either taste or tangible facts and figures, then I would say that their atheism is irrelevant.
But no, I wouldn't consult them with spiritual questions.
But then again, I'm not sure this question qualifies as one; sorry.

They may seem irrelevant to you, but they are largely relevant to the reality in which we are all immersed.
As to the nature of truth, I would draw attention to Matthew 16:28. Can you blame people for getting tired of waiting?

I can never understand the complete logic or system of Atheism. They don't believe in God yet they follow the moral code of the law. And if think about it, you can compare our countries Laws to the Biblical Laws.
But to say their opinions are entirely irrelevant is not so true. Just because they don't believe in God doesn't mean they don't have ideas that can possibly help out our society.

No, their opinions are relevant and are valued. They are necessary for good discussion and have often helped me to strenghten my faith. I look up things concerning what they ask. I read the Bible to find out more about what they speak to.
Their truth is reality to them. Why not do the moral thing and respect it?

no they aren't
atheists are entitled to their opinion just as much as we Christians are. We don't have to agree with each others opinions and beliefs but we should be respectful. It's not the place of a christian to tell an atheist they'll be going to hell because ultimately it's up to God.

I don't mind listening to them until they get nasty, mean, and egotistical. Not a judgment, a personal observation based on 'fact' and 'proof' as they like to say. At that point, they are irrelevant.

If Atheist opinions are entirely irrelevant, are you willing to forgo all of the benefits that they have created for society?
Are you willing to turn your back on modern Medicine? What about Technology, or inventions provided by science. Are you willing to forget what you have learned about the moon and sun and planets, all provided by Atheist astronomers. You should, because their opinions are irrelevant right?
