Maybe one should be Catholic....like the Jewish, and the Catholics should be Jewish. Or is it that we've been on each others back on our religion that the Catholics feel for the Jewish and the Jewish have been angry at us that they may feel a little guilt. Who really knows, just a fun guess with a serious one.

here's a theory... So much has happened to and been blamed on the Jews and Catholics that we start to feel like maybe there IS something to feel guilty about. SO, after 1000's of years (for the Jews- of which I am one) we just feel guily about almost everything! I personally feel like I should be able to mae everything perfect for everybody and when that inevitably doesn't happen, I feel like it's my fault. It's just part of our life.

I did not know there was anything for them to feel guilty about! Both are dearly loved by God! Therefore, those who have mistreated these two groups should worry how they will fare on judgment day!
Do not let anyone tell you that you should be guilty, Nanny! It is a big LIE!

actually, i feel guilty that i have a son over in iraq, (i'm obviously not doing a good job of keeping him safe....) and i have a daughter and son in law down south, also in the army (i'm really not being the good mother/mother-in-law.... i should be closer, so i can cook for the young couple, and help them with whatever....).... oh yeah!!! i'm feeling really guilty, since my youngest son is going back to israel this year, and therefore not close enough for me to 'do' for him.... his cooking, cleaning, laundry, and all the rest.....
is that enough guilt? i'm tired with all that going on.......which makes me feel even more guilty.....

Probably the fact that they have both so bastardized their respective religions that neither are like what they were originally. In my opinion.
