There are two instances where this is prevalent..... One is known as the "precognitive" dream and the other is known as the "prophetic" dream......

The precog dream usually ocurrs within 3 days of having dreamt the them, and relates specifically to instances that will ocurr within the dreamers life. It is a warning of what is about to happen in the life of the dreamer. The dreamer is actively involved in the outcome.

However, the prophetic dream can occur within years or decades after having been dreamt and really has nothing to do with the dreamer. the dreamer is strictly an observer and is only there to remember to report the incidences seen. Yet, he will not be the only one with such a vivid sight of display in the dream. The prophetic dream is confirmed by complete strangers who have identical scenarios presented.

So, yes.... we believe you...... It happens......

I consider myself scientific, and yet I experience deja vu often and on rare occurances actually remember the dream (which ended-up happening) BEFORE it happened (I rarely remember my dreams at all). So it seems like this can happen. HOW, I have not a clue. Maybe we have actually lived our life before and somewhere remember everything, maybe there were clues to what was going to happen that we just didn't realize were clues, I have no idea.

But this does happen to me and even though science should come with skepticism, it should also come with open-mindedness. Even when you can't determine WHY something might happen, you should always consider that it CAN happen.

It does not seem to happen to a lot of people (or maybe they just don't share it), but it happens. I just sort-of accept that it happens and don't really make a big deal about it. But if you come-up with a good theory on why this might happen let me know. I predicted the death of a pet rabbit and a couple other things based on dreams, but I have deja vu sometimes several times in a week with specific details that I know have never happened before. Other times I go a month or two without any such experiences. I have decided to take their occurance as a good sign that I am doing what I should be doing since the dreams and life are lining-up.
