I was listening to Lithium by evanescence, and it seems to be about depression. i looked up the lyrics to lithium, and there were adds on there about lithium and depression. I heard Litthium is actually a drug,but i have been wondering... Is lithium something that makes people depressed? Is it something that helps depression? Is it something like that? Or something tottally different??

It's an anxiety/depression mediation that's very powerful. It's also an element on the periodic table.
*Also* If you've ever seen the movie 'Garden State' the main character is taking lithium, and he's kinda zombie like. That might be a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea.

Lithium is a metal. but lithium salt is used as a drug for bipolar disorder which are mania and depression. the effective dose is slightly less than the toxic dose . so high precaution should mentain. and do bllod work and kedny ,thyroid function test every 3 months.

lithium is an anti psychotic,usually used to treat schizophrenia but it can have other uses as well.
it's legal only when prescribed by a doc.
