between a 99 impreza or maxima which would you choose? maxima has a 3.0 liter V6, i'm not sure about the impreza, all i know is that it comes with a 4 cylinder engine, but i've heard that even though its just a v4 it has good performance. Maxima definately has a more luxorious side but as far as performance which would you choose?

The Maxima is more like a luxury car. The Impreza, even the basic editions, are sports cars.
Chose the one that suits better with your driving style and that fits your needs.

Maxima 3.0 V-6 Please! H-4 cyl subie motor makes weird noises and exhaust y pipe cracks. Maximas from 1998 are great cars...
