chihuahua shots?

when a chihuahua is a puppy you have to give her like all the shots she needs deworming spay neuter etc.then when she is an adult at 1 you give her ,her regular vaccination every year?when shes an adult.

Our dogs do get their yearly booster. Some vets say they need it, others say they don't. I am not going to take a chance with my dogs' health, so they do get the boosters. Some states also require a yearly rabies vaccine while others only reuire that it be done every 3 yr. You can check with your vet to see what is required where you live.

The breeder usually gives the puppy the first set of shots and then the owner has the vet give her last two shots and rabies as well. The puppy should be spayed at five months to avoid it going into heat. An adult dog usually only gets shots one time per year.

If you got her from a breeder, she should have already had her first shots and would have been wormed before being sold to you. If she is from a litter of a dog owned by someone you know, then you will be responsible for doing that. She should have first shots and worming at eight weeks. After initial "puppy shots" at 2 months, you should bring her back to her vet a month later for initial rabies shot. Your vet should send you a notice one year later to come in for her boosters, and at one year intervals thereafter. But don't forget she will also need flea and heartworm and West Nile treatment every month to keep her safe and healthy. She can be spayed at six months of age, but should not be any younger than that.

personally im getting them all redone plus gardia and lyme and heartgard and k9 advantix and a heartworm test and rabies which will cost be 200-300

if u choose get parvo and distemper and rabies which will cost like 20-50 bucks depending on the vet

your ? makes no sense, spay is not a shot, or neuter, but yes you must get shots before you can even take dog outside, and from as young as 6 weeks, then booster shot, then follow up shots, then every year on, see your veterinarian!!!!!

Yes, they need their annual shots. Be sure to keep her on a monthly heartworm protection pill. I give my Chihuahua the Interceptor. Make sure she gets a fecal annually. To make sure she doesn't have any parasites.

Vaccinations are good for many, many years. They do not need to be repeated year after year.
