I don't really know how to explain it but a cookbook that went say: "indian" starter, main and dessert
"greek" starter main and dessert
and so on. I would have a couple for each theme.

Maybe. Give it a catchy title like "Around the World in 80 Meals" and document your journey from country to country with a few recipes reflecting the native cuisine. Chapter with the name of the country "England, France, Spain, Greece, India, etc.) and provide a bit of background of the origins of the dish (of particular note would be the availability of ingredients in that part of the world; for Japan you'd have rice and fish as the staples).

I think the key selling point wouldn't just be the recipes (as they are easily obtained on the internet) but the history behind the dishes of each country and the influences of what went into their cuisine.

I'd probably buy it, I'm a cookbook junkie. Have a couple different appetizers, soups, mains, and desserts, and breads for each country. Diversity is good. :)

So you want a multinational cookbook with several courses for each nation, hmm . If you are a well known chef and these are orginal recipes i might consider it.
