bodybuilder "cut" and fitness "cut" are the same. they train the same and they eat the same. one difference..the amount of steroids. fitness competitors do take steroids and other hormones. i know from first hand experience. alot of fitness cometitors use clenbuterol and thyroid meds to get cut. as for diet most will go low carb to get the "cut" look. otherwise you would have to starve yourself and end up losing muscle. i can send you sample diets if you like.

the diet that you follow ultimately determines how much body fat you have. in terms of supplements for fat loss besides fat burners, etc. that excite the metabolism by CNS stimulation there are really only anti-catabolic type supplements. these are supplements like branched chain amino acids (BCAA's), L-Glutamine, HMB and blended protein powders. these supplements help the body to preserver lean body mass when there is an extended caloric deficit while still exercising at a high level of intensity.

you may also want to change the style of cardio that you are doing now and switch to something along the lines of H.I.I.T Cardio or Max-OT Cardio. these types of high intensity exercise excite the metabolic rate for hours after exercise where the real fat loss takes places.
