I have a brother whos 23 and has been having alot of problems for a very long time.He does drugs.I dont really know what kind but i do know he pops pills.He is always stealing money from me and my parents for them.Over the past few years hes probably stole close to a million dollars from my parents and a couple thousand from me.He also steals my cds,movies,play station games,video cameras,and pretty much anything that is worth money.He has also sold one of my dads guns for money.Everytime something happens he says he willl get help but still hasnt and i think he really needs it.He has mentioned joining the air force because he thinks it will help him but i dont want him getting hurt.Is there anything i can do?

He is in more danger of dying if he continues the lifestyle he is in then joining the Air Force. It will teach him discipline and give him direction. If you are afraid for him in the AF maybe you could convince him to join the Navy. Iraq is in the desert, and I don't think they have a navy.

Well to start it all out you may call me Dr.Tasha.I think that you shouldn't listen to that asshole at the bottom that sayed 1 million dollars! If you want i will straighten him out by locking him up in my closet! lol Or I can lock him up in my dungeon and torture him! ilmb woo! You all know I have the best answer so vote it bitches!

First really try to talk to him one on one about how feel and how he's hurting himself he's young he's got he's whole life ahead of him. If that doesn't work get somebody who has been in that in situation and that has overcome to talk to him to persuade him to get help or go to a group meeting or rehab for drugs don't let your brother throw his life away when you would've helped his get together.

if he lives with you and your folks, there isn't much you can do. he has to help himself and if your folks aren't strong enough to kick him out, maybe you could talk to them about moving in with a relative. tell them you can't take it anymore and can't live in the same house with him.
