My mom is calling for me and i would talk to the dean myself but she only listens to parents so whats a good excuse to leave the class???

Im in highschool and she wont change the class if i say its pointless...i've tried doing that before...

What level class is it?
For college, just drop it. You don't need a reason. But why would your mom be calling?
You could always say that you don't feel it meets with your educational goals...

well, i suppose you could use a variety of excuses: you could say you don't feel comfortable with the class environment, you could use the classic "im sick" excuse, or you could be completely honest with the dean and tell he/she that you feel the class is utterly pointless. explain yourself though, and give plenty of good reasons as to why the class is a waste of time.

Yes you can, the truth is the best way to go. Just express how you feel about the class and why(in your opinion)has very little to offer you. As grown ups we have to take the good the bad and the ugly...good luck.
