Christian women: DO YOU KNOW YOUR PLACE?

Women should listen and learn quietly and humbly. I never let women teach men or lord it over them. Let them be silent in your church meeting. Why?

Because God made Adam firct, and afterwards he made Eve. And it was not Adam who was fooled by Satan, but Eve, and sin was the result. So God sent pain and suffering to women when their children are born, but he will save their souls if they trust in him, living, quiet, good and loving lives.

I know I am the daughter of the Most High God. I was redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God! He died for my sins also! Therefore, I am royalty because I am one of the King's kids!
The different role I was given does NOT make me a second class citizen in the eyes of the Lord!
If that were so, why did Jesus choose to appear to a woman first after his resurrection? Praise the Lord who elevated the status of women! It was the old devil who tried to make women second class, but it was Jesus who died to redeem them and reconcile them with the Father! I do not care what men consider me, I KNOW who I am in the Lord!

Um...Actually, God created all people equal, so women are just as important as men. It says in the bible that Adam was lonely, so God made him Eve. I can't imagine being unsatisfied if I could walk and talk with God and the whole earth was perfect. Eve was needed. Eve was necessary. Think of how the world would be if there was no Eve. It would be blank, vacant, unoccupied. There would be no one to give life to new children, and the world that God had worked so hard to create would be useless for the rest of eternity. God realized that something was missing, and he finished the world with a finishing touch. Women are the cherry on top of the sundae. The are absolutely needed and I think that it's horrible that you look down on women. A true Christian would know that God created all equal and that everyone is important. Even those who are deformed, and autistic. God has a purpose for them, so they are extrememly important. You sound like a Mormon. Contact me for more on this subject if you would like.

Adam was punished to you idiot. And by the way there are actually two creation stories in genesis. One were men and women are made together and the one that you quoted. The first is Genesis 2:26-31. And then The one you are referring to is Genesis 3. I guess it just depends on which one you want to believe right.

AS for the quote about women teaching, it means women are not priests.
Women are teachers of children however. And the verse you
quoted is not true in all instances.
A woman who is Christian should teach a man who is ignorant of the Lord...

SO that verse in context is only through the ministry of the Church.

NOT to be mistaken with marriage.
For when a couple are married the woman submits to the man as the man submits to the wife.

For we know Christ submitted to His Church til His death.

Ephesians tells us submit one to another. That is for all the members of the Church and not just the women.
It does not exclude the husband from the wife either.

So a husband must not insist on his own way as I quoted from 1 Corinthians 13. Because love does not insist on its own way.

The two become one flesh.
The husband loves the wife as himself.
The husband not look at his wife with contempt.
The husband should want to die for his wife.
The husband must adhere to what love is, [quoted]
The husband has alot more to do than the wife...
So the wife pleases God by her free will and submits to him [her husband] because it is pleasing to the husband and makes the marriage solid. WHICH pleases the Lord, since He sanctified the Union.

A priest once said..
The last shall be first and the first shall be last. If marriage adhered to this basic rule of faith, then the husband would be last and submit to the wife, and the wife would be last and submit to the husband.
BOTH submitting and both being treated as though FIRST.

I'm sorry you lead such an ignorant fight. A man who does not fight for equality is not a man. My fiance is a real man, and doesn't seek to enslave me keep me from teaching others. I hope you're joking, if not:

Men and women are equal-- there is no distinguishing line. I will not obey a man simply because he has extra flesh between his legs. That is the only difference between male and female. The Bible was written 2000 years ago when men ruled everything-- and what is a better way to enslave the opposite gender than write a book that does it for you?

Any God that makes all women suffer for the sin of one is not a just creature. I would not follow something that says because I am without p***s that I should have to submit to one that has such.

Anyone that does not let a woman lead because of her gender is sexist, unfair, and I hope someone prays for you that your God really is that forgiving of you. You're going to need it when you pass.

You are insane. Go get some help. Women are just as equal as men are. Besides, haven't you ever heard that rhyme, first is the worst, second is the best? The worst fighters go first to take the blunt of the force, the opening act is worse, and the closer is the best pitcher. It sounds to me like your jealous of someone or you have marriage issues. I agree. I prefer to listen to the men teach in the church.
John rebuked the early church for allowing a woman named Jezebel, who called herself a prophetess, to teach the church false doctrine (Rev. 2:20).
But outside of church, a woman can teach on a variety of things, run a business, even be president of a country, etc.

what's with those questions this night. Why are adult adult males so worried of ladies human beings's sexuality. women human beings are no longer 2d type electorate which would be relegated to the kitchen. those days are long previous. contained in the Celtic Pagan society women human beings have been equivalent to the adult adult males, they have been even warriors. What place everyone located in society replaced into in keeping with skill and selection, no longer by using what hung between their legs.
