I have lived in many 3rd world countries. I find they are quite cruel to animals. I am in Mexico now and I am amazed at the cruelty. I find that the more civilized the country the more humane they are to animals, for example, Scandinavia, Holland, England, they are very kind to animals. But about trust - trust them with what? They have to be trained and educated about animals, and as far as trust goes trust them with what????? My children? My animals? No way.

I'm not really sure how anyone could harm an animal, unless they have rage/anger issues.
I personally find them disgusting, though I wouldn't call them horrible people. I would never trust an abuser with children or animals, for neither can defend themselves well.
Usually when people abuse, they need some sort of consueling. Unfortunately, no one is perfect, and anyone who wants to change deserves a second chance.

I believe in an eye for an eye. And I believe there's a special place in hell for people who abuse and neglect animals. Trust them? NO. I don't even give those kinds of people the time of day.

Torturing animals in childhood is a classic symptom of Conduct Disorder.
The adult version of Conduct DIsorder is Antisocial Personality Disorder, also called Sociopath, basically a lifelong criminal.
No, people like that are not to be trusted.

I hate it I don't get it. I think we should do the same thing to the person who abuse's the animal but 2 wrongs don't make a right.

They don't really scare me, but they do disgust me. Honestly...how can you harm such wonderful creatures?? I do not trust them at all!
