The Onion is a comedy site. It's a parody of a newspaper. Watching that video is about the equivilent of watching a routine about picking up girls on Saturday Night Live: it's a joke, and he finds it funny.
I wouldn't worry about this unless you find him watching a serious instruction tape on the subject.

The Onion?
The Onion is a parody newspaper with a strong tradition of rarefied comedy. Among its headlines:
FDA Approves Seconds
Al Gore Caught Warming Globe To Increase Box Office Profits
Bill Of Rights Pared Down To A Manageable Six
Suffice to say, if your husband begins turning to The Onion for *advice* on this sort of thing, your concern should be with his mental wellbeing, not his fidelity. In the meantime, I beg of you all, develop a sense of humor. Why should she be worried about this?! It doesn't need explained away, it needn't be just for curiousity; it's a bloomin' joke! Assertions that our plaintiff should be upset at this are akin to saying he's becoming a born-again Christian by watching Sam Kinison tapes.

I don't know his motivations for watching the video. Do bear in mind, though, that nothing about The Onion is intended to be serious. So if your guy is looking for new tricks on such a video, you must have said 'yes' to a rather dim bulb.
Chances are it's evidence of a weird sense of humor, more than anything else. If he starts dressing like the idiot in the video, though, all bets are off.

What's wrong with checking out something strange on the internet? And by the way, just for your information, there's a whole reality tv show dedicated to teaching males how to be a pick up artist.
Perhaps your fiance is just in awe that someone could be that weird.
Why are you so untrusting of a man you have dedicated your life to and promised to marry? If you don't trust him, you should have said no when he asked.

Well, I know married women who read books intended for singles like "The Rules." or even look through personals? Why? Strictly for entertainment and laughs. Some personals are hilarious!
Looking at that video doesn't mean he's going to put it into practise. If he's calling the guy an idiot, that's a sign to me that he doesn't approve of what the guy is saying. But if you are feeling a bit uncomfortable about him viewing this video, tell him your feelings about it.

You need to handle your insecurities before you get married. There's a reality show on VHI about that pick up artist and my husband and I hooked on it. It's a good show and has some good drama. I think your fiance is just watching it for entertainment purposes.

No. He probably just found the link and clicked on it because it looked interesting. Now..it's different if he's actually implementing the tricks, but I watch all kinds of stuff online that I will never do or use, it's just for entertainment.

At least he was honest with you about what he is doing. Maybe he was curious. If you haven't seen him try anything then why make a big deal. He is the one that asked you to marry him right? I wouldn't worry right now. If there's a change in him later, then worry.

It's just a show. Why do people get sooo upset about watching a show? Don't blow it out of proportion.
Is he taking notes? Then you might have a problem
