Like high school guys...
Because I'm shy..and I've never had a bf before.
I know alot of guys say that they do..but most of the times, guys are with girls that talk and laugh alot.
I talk and laugh...but not as much as some girls.
And I'm new to the school..so I get even quieter when I see tons of people talking and I'm just..there. I do try to not be so shy...and talk more..I honestly do..it just..doesn't work too well.
But anyways..
Do [high-school] guys like shy girls?
Because this year..I really, really, really want to go to homecoming..but I don't want to go by myself and just stand there all alone...
It's in a month and a half I think. 10/19

I know personality plays a role too.
I'm smart, and really nice..and people say I'm pretty.
Guys'll look at me alot..but they never talk lol...I guess they're shy too.
Idk..I was jw.

I just graduated high school a few months ago, and I was so shy. I didnt go to any of the dances except senior prom! I love shy girls, because im shy myself! The problem is that since shy girls dont put themselves out there that much, they arent very noticeable. You just gotta put yourself out there more

Well guys need some feedback too that tells them you dig them. Try saying things like "it was really nice talking to you". Or "I hope to see you again soon." I mean, don't lie, but if you did enjoy being with the guy don't be afraid to share that. These little things will make a big difference. Guys can't see inside you and know what you're feeling. They can pick up on certain things without asking. But a little help and encouragement from you can go a long way.

just be yourself...
most guys like a girl that has a little mystery. the girls who put themselves out there are the ones most likely to be judged and ridiculed...I'm not saying that it's right that it happens to those girls, but if a girl is loud and obnoxious, she leaves nothing to the imagination for guys. and just because your shy, doesn't mean you shouldn't go to homecomming. even if you end up going by yourself, it shows that you have enough confidence and don't need a guy to go out and have fun! that will probably draw more attention to you than anything!
i was quiet in HS and i was always good friends with the guys before we'd ever date. My bf of 2.5 years was my friend before we started dating and hes the loud/obnoxious/crazy/fun football player... and i was the quiet girl ...he sought me out :) and things couldn't be more perfect

I like many types of girls that includes shy girls. ;) In my eyes shy girls are cute. Yeah guys are shy when it comes to speaking to girls they don't know very well especially if shes attractive in a way to them. If I knew a girl was shy I would take advantage of it and talk to her first to make her more comfortable. I'm a shy guy too but I try to talk to others or think as tho I'm online. haha

Well, some do but some don't have time to be messing around, they want someone who is more lively. You will never attract who you like if you don't get out there and make friends, I promise you you just won't. Let everyone see your nice personality!

i feel the exact same way. im going into high school this year and ive never had a bf. my friends are trying to hook me up with someone and its working belive it or not. hes gonna ask me out soon. so if all of your other plans fail go to your friends theyll help a lot trust me ive been there!

i think the shy ones are hot....if you can just get them to talk to you....kinda a contradiction there huh? but anyway, if you can, they usually open and and are the hottest freakiest ones around.....but give me shy over popular and outgoing anyday......the popular outgoing ones usually know they're hot, and that's just a problem.....the shy ones don't know how hot they are, and that is soooo sexy.....

be confident, and dont forget to smile, you dont know whos falling in love with it.
