fork in road. one way leads to good place; one way leads to bad place. there are 2 people waiting in at the fork and both know what way is good/bad. Either both people always lie, one lies and on tells truth, or both always tell truth. You do not know which combination it is, but u can ask each person 1 question. what questioins do u ask to find out which path is good.

You say which way will the other person say is the way to paradise? The liar will point to Hell [because he is a liar] and the truth teller will point to Hell [because he is telling the truth. the liar will point to Hell.] So therefore, they are both pointing at the same path so, your take the opposite one. :] I hope that made sense!

you only have to ask one of them
you ask one of them , what path the other person would tell you to go on, the go on the opposite.
The liar would send you on the bad path, opposite to where the truth teller would tell you to go
the truth teller would point to the bad path, because that is were the liar would send you
So doing the opposite would lead to safety.
oops didnt read the question proper. this is a variation on an old one were one lies and the other tells the truth

As both of them knows which path is good and which path is bad, they should ask to travel the good path.
