To say he's a bad driver is just not stupid. It's a shame because unlike Tony fat butt, Kevin winer and chicken Gordon; he seems like a very nice down to earth guy who happens to be blessed or cursed with the top name in racing.
I've said this before, but look at the facts. He took a car to third last year with no back end and most of the front missing. Drove a car with no power steering and still finished. He dosen't make excuses and really seems to understand how lucky he is to be were he is.
Now I don't no the man. Maybe he's a world class jerk. But he can drive. It's sad but in this "Sport", the best driver doesn't always win. And unlike the above mentioned snapperheads; junior has class... so let the hate mail begin

Im not saying he is a bad driver but he defininatly isnt a great driver like his fans and the TV announcers think. I drive a oval sportsman class stock car my self on dirt and asphalt I know what racing is about. I know the facts and these facts are as follows 1. Dale Jr. started Nascar at roughly the same time as STEWART, JOHNSON, KENSETH AND KURT BUSH . 2. ALL THESE DRIVERS HAVE WON A CHAMPIONSHIP OR MORE--DALE JR HAS NOT. 3.THEY HAVE WON MORE RACES THAN DALE.JR. 4. RYAN NEWMAN MORE POLES THAN DALE JR. 5. ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR SINCE DALE JR. HAS WON A RACE. 6. DALE JR. HAS HAD THE VAUNTED DEI MULTICAR TEAMS AND HAS HAD THE BEST EQUIPMENT. EXPERIENCE AND EVERYTHING ELSE GOING FOR HIM AND STILL FALLS SHORT OF HIS FELLOW DRIVERS. All 43 guys out there have skill--guts--and big kahonies just to drive. Dale Jr. isnt a bad driver but he isnt great either. Being popular with Beer Commercials--Wrangler jeans--Enterprise Rent a car and so on and having the Announcer drool over him doesnt make him a Great driver. Maybe Someday his accomplishments will but he is not his daddy and Kyle is not Richard nor is Dale as good as Ned Jarrett

You know you are so hypacritical. You complain because you dont want people to make fun of Jr., but then you go and make fun of the best drivers in NASCAR. Maybe you should just shut your trap and not worry about what others say. I agree the best drivers dont always win in this sport, but to say Jr is the best driver, you are not even close. He is up there, but not the best. Look at his stats compared to Stewart, Gordon, Johnson, and many others.

Let's not forget the Pepsi 400 win in 01, coming from back in the pack to win in 4 laps, 5 Talladega wins(btw his second highest is Richmond with 3 so that blows the theory the he can only win at super speedways). Winning the Daytona 500 in a quarter of the time it took senior. Or having an identical career record to Kenseth and Kurt Busch, albeit without the championship. Oh yeah let's not forget driving Kyle Busch's car after the idiot wrecked him. People tend to overlook that and just see the name. Don't agree with you on Stewart, Harvick, and Gordon. Oh yeah finished second at Pocono after stopping the change the shocks.

Many people seem to forget that he's won two Busch series championships. Yeah, so it's not Nextel Cup, but it's still NASCAR. He doesn't make excuses, he doesn't intentionally wreck other drivers, and he knows what he's doing. He was born and raised in the sport, for goodness sake! Even if his name wasn't Earnhardt, he'd still be a damn good driver.

I love Jr no matter what number, how many races or what team he is on. His 'bad luck' this year all seems to be equipment failure and I have a problem with so many coincidences. His being taken out by nitwits is aggravating enough but being given substandard equipment to race with because he's leaving DEI really pi$se$ me off. I'm not usually such a synic but his stepthang would love to see him leave the company in a 'broked down' pattern of racing.

junior is the bestdriver just watch when he has a real good car..i can guaruntee if u gave him a awsome car he wouldwin too much its not that hes a bad driver its that he never really has a good enough car itself...look at michigan...he started deadlast and was passn just about everybody goin 208 3/10fatser than the leader like 1 inch away from the wall mand he complaied that he didnt like his car..so take that fact and give him a good car and see what happens..youll see it next year..b/c hell be drivin with the team of gordon and johnson and they r always upfront so thats a good thing for jr!!!
