if you don't forgive someone it is not your fault. the person has hurt you or has done something to make you sad. You have all the right to not forgive. it is not a sin to not forgive, though it is not suggested either. but your reward will be great if you do forgive. remember, God loves forgivers, and those who love. don't let the world bug you. we will face the day when justice will be the most important. May God bring you to the highest levels of Heaven. and don't worry, you are not sinful for not forgiving. but i suggest you do. because i'm sure the person who has hurt you is regretting right this very moment. God Bless You!

Anybody can be forgiven, if they really and truly ask for forgiveness, for anything.

I see the answers that you have gotten so far. I find them interesting.
What if I never forgave someone and then died before I could? Would I then be judged according to that standard of works? What became of the grace I have with God through Jesus Christ?
Really, anyone who tells me I have to do something other than trust God doesn't get me to agree with them. God is trustworthy, He will not take a life of faith and quench it like that. I am convinced that God is caring about me, to the bitter end if I need be.
So those who would think that God isn't trustworthy to live up to His word are walking the line to legalism. My God forgives because I believed Him and His Son. Not because I escape the wrath of God through my perfection. It's as if people would expect that trusting God isn't enough!

No. Matt. 16:14: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
