However, the actions of believers was the first thing that made me question my Christian upbringing.
From there it was a 'slippery slope' into using my talents to investigate the teachings for myself.

if 4 million people march off to a Holy War. and 3 stand back and say " well they are not real__________"

then the religion in my opinion is a violent one. it does not matter what their teachings are. if the majority of their people are willing to act in a manner that is not respective of their teachings, then there is something wrong. be it with their
teachings, or their preaching. something is very wrong.

examples.

the Crusades.
the Witch trials (not the joke in Salem, the European craze)

the so called Jihad against America (and the west in general.)
Rioting and killing people over Cartoons while claiming to be a PEACFUL religion.

i think you should judge someone and their religion by their fruits. If they have no fruits then they are not who they say they are. and you should not base your oppinion of their religion on them. but you should find someone who has fruits of their religion. who acts apon their beliefs and are not HYPOCRITES and judge the religion on them.
