Do the right thing and find him a new home. Or take him to a shelter if you absolutely have to. You feel guilty because you know that wasn't the right thing to do. Do the right thing and you won't have to feel bad. Not only is it bad for the kitten, but it must be awful for your sister who loved it.

you should have dropped the kitten off at an animal shelter or given it to someone you can trust who wants a cat.i suggest you go find the kitten.if it has died, tell your sister the truth.tell her why you did it and make sure she understands.its the best thing to do.and btw that was very wrong to just leave it there.what if your mom left you on a street when you were oh so small and young?

Definately find the kitten and give it to a shelter. Tell you're sister that her kitten is visiting another family (if she's really young she might forget about it) or if she's older, tell her to ask your parent/guardian about it. You could also pretend you don't know and act like the kitten's lost ( if you have the nerve.)

What you did was a seriuosly cruel thing to do. Why couldn't you have just found the cat a new home instead of basically turning it loose? You very well may have cost the kitten its life as well as broken your sister's heart. Depending on what state you live in, you may have also broken a few laws.

I suggest you look your sister in the eye and tell her honestly what you did.

You SHOULD feel guilty...suck it up.

A kitten can't survive on it's own trying to find and kill food--go back and find it before it starves to death or is killed by a car. Then GIVE it to anyone working at a veterinarian's office. As a last resort the clerks there at the vets have to take an animal in.

I'd go see if I could find it. Cats don't eat that much. And if you don't have the little tike declawed she will earn her money killing mice and gophers when she grows up.
A cat is a heck of a lot cheaper than always be having to hire and exterminator to get rid of mice and rats. Plus they are murder on ground rattlers and copperheads as well.

Plus when they are kittens they are a lot of fun to watch when they get the 4:00 o'clock crazies.

You go back to where you dropped him off and find him. Bring him to a shelter if you can't afford another pet.
