I'm no Christian, so I'm not sure if people would have the answer to this. But if you do, please speak up. I'm very interested in death and religion.

And how do you recognize your parents, relatives, friends, etc.?

When someone goes to heaven they will have a purified body. BUT it's not of flesh and bones, this will be a spiritual body. NOT AN ANGEL but something like it. You will be perfect, therefore no blemishes or imperfections etc. The real question you should be asking is.. how do i get there? Not how will I look there?..
What's the point of knowing how you will look if you're not sure if you're going to go.

And I think, you wont recognize your family and friends because you will be too busy praising the Lord.
Plus if you remember someone and you don't see them in heaven you would feel sad b/c you know they went to hell.
And the Bible says there will be no sadness or pain in heaven.. so I guess you wouldn't recognize anyone. Because we will all be brother's and sisters in Christ worshiping one God.
So yeah just brothers and sisters, not moms or dads, or husband and wife... etc...

and if you go to hell, God forbid, but you wont recognize anyone b/c you'd be in too much pain and suffering to notice anyone else.

Eternal life, however, occurs in a renewed, unspoilt and perfect creation (presumably full of plants, animals and stunning landscapes), which can be termed Heaven since God will choose to dwell there permanently with his people. There will no longer be any separation between God and man. The believers themselves will exist in incorruptible, resurrected and new bodies; there will be no sickness, no death and no tears. The person was never meant to be disembodied. Death is not a natural part of life, but was allowed to happen after Adam and Eve disobeyed God so that mankind would not live forever in a state of sin and thus a state of separation from God.Not only will the believers spend eternity with God, they will also spend it with each other. John's vision recorded in Revelation describes a New Jerusalem which comes from Heaven to the new earth, which is a seen to be a symbolic reference to the people of God living in community with one another. 'Heaven' will be the place where life will be lived to the full, in the way that the designer planned, each believer 'loving the Lord their God with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their mind' and 'loving their neighbour as themselves'(adapted from Matthew 22:37-38)—a place of great joy, without the negative aspects of earthly life.

I am going to look fly. I am gonna have theme music like Shaft in the background, and the angels are gonna say "That's a bad motha" And then a thunderbolt is gonna shoot and say "shut your mouth!" The angels are gonna say "Im just talkin' bout Snowflake!'
For real, I don't worry about all that. I know I am going to be with Jesus which is never a bad thing. All that superficial stuff we worry about here like recognizing folks won't even matter in heaven. We are going to be too busy being happy to care!

According to Scripture Matthew 27:53 and others you will be recognizable, just as Lazarus was.Luke Chapter16. The term Glorified means indestructable.....Make sure you read Matthew 27 and 28 also John 14 in it's entirety, it's an eye opener!

i believe you will look how you look now but without all the injuries and imperfections gone. heaven is talked about as a place where there's no sickness, the lamb and the lion will sit down next to each other without any killing involved, there'll be no more hunger and every tear from every eye will be wiped away. and we will no longer

the bible doesn't say a whole lot about what we will be like on the outside, but it says a lot about how we look on the inside, our inner condition.

certainly heaven will be the best place, the place we were made for.

You will Look Exactly like YourSelf.

You are a Spirit, you have a Soul, and you Live in a Body.

You, a Spirit, are the Life of your Body (EarthSuit) and you Look Just Like your Body.
When you come out of your Body, the Body Falls Over and EveryBody Gasps!!!

If u die a young person u stay young and intact. If u die a older person and have false teeth and stuff like that u go to heaven as a younger version of yourself and fully intact. everything is replaced, and u are whole again. at least that is what i believe. they will recognize u and so will jesus so please turn your life around and give your heart to jesus before it is too late...

IN HEAVEN:
You recieve a body fashioned after Christ's Glorious Body, He has prepared a Place for us, a Mansion and Streets of Pure Gold but the Greatest Thing About Heaven is that we are in the Presence of God the Father, Christ, our Lord and Savior and the Holy Ghost.Amen

John 14:1-4 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

John 14
1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
