1 cup of rice, long grain raw, is about 185 grams (6.5 ounces).
Rice is about $0.70 per pound... (or $0.04 per ounce.
So 3/4 cups of rice is 20 cents. That's how much 3/4 cups of rice is.
6.5*.75*$0.04 = $0.20

Rice approximately triples in volume when it is cooked. So if you start with 1/2 cup, you'll end up with 1 & 1/2 cups.
3/4 would equate to 2 & 1/4 cups after it was cooked.

You need a measuring cup ...they have markings on them that tell you how much 3/4 of a cup is.
