Mint tea. Grow your own mint like I do, it's so easy to do as well. Really settle acid indigestion. In the meantime get some from the local health food shop or supermarket

My uncle recommends bach remedy - calcium carbonate.
If the problem persists though see your doctor as the acid escaping up your oesophageal can cause a lot of damage and has been linked to throat cancer (not sure what studies have been done to support this though).
I know it's not natural but ranitidine works wonders for me

A spoon full of baking soda in a short glass of water. Seriously. On the side of the Arm n Hammer box it says that is one of the uses. It tastes awful, but it works soooo fast. Instantly. I have a box at work and one at home. The whole box is like 60cents. Plus it doesn't mess with the other end of my digestive track like pepsid or zantac. TRY IT! YOU"LL THANK ME!!!

Papaya enzymes and other plant-derived enzymes can help. They seem to reduce my acid reflux effectively. I've been taking a supplement very similar to the one at the link below.
Ginger is good too, but don't overdo it.

Distracted dining could possibly get you in trouble. Avoid eating looking at a television or in a movie theatre, as you're bound to eat more calories.

Are your dishes too large? A healthy dinner should fit using a 9-inch plate. You may know that kid-sized plates are more appropriately sized to feed a adult!
