THE ABSOLUTE BEST PRESENT! Get her a box of Princess cereal(it's kind of like lucky charms), some princess Pop Tarts, Some princess juice drinks, Princess fruit snacks. etc. You get the picture. Most moms love you for it because the get to eat it and mom doesn't have to store a lot of junk. Kids love it too because for like $20 bucks you can get a lot of things. Good Luck. It has never failed me.

MY daughter is turning three this week, her favorite toys are:
Lincoln logs
All art supplies (crayons, markers, paints, saftey scissors, etc)
Play food and dish sets (big favorite)
Tea set
Chunky foam or wooden puzzles, about 15 pieces
Her wooden doll house.
We really try to avoid anything plastic or TV/barbie/bratz/disney branded. Hope these ideas help!

Maybe like a coloring book with crayons etc..
Or a jigsaw.
Coloring is very good for a childs hand-eye co-ordination.
