I'm supposed to dance in competition at the end of September. Any chance that's going to be possible? Really, seriously need to compete. Have to pay rent, and eat once in while, too.

the time can vary, but it's normally six weeks. Ask your doctor about the chances of you being able to dance in September. Most likely you're going to need some form of physical therapy.

I have a stress fracture in my left foot, and the doctor told me that the stress fracture will take 6-8 weeks to heal. I'm in a boot, but I'm on crutches for the entire time, until I can walk without pain. I would say you'll probably be on the crutches for the entire 6-8 weeks it will take to heal.
