No, his crime was that he was funding and participating in an inhumane crime of dog fighting, as well as cruelty to animals.
Unless you eat canines, I do not see how drowning, hanging, choking or shooting a dog in cold blood is "like" hunting. Most sportsmen (Hunters, fishermen, trappers, etc) have a dog also as a companion, and is treated like part of the family.
Think first, Mr. White, prior to saying something profoundly stupid.

Dogs are are of our families. Maybe not your family.. but they are of ours. We have 2 beautiful boxer bulldogs... they love our kids and protect our home. They are a part of a family no other way to put it.
To say dog fighting is like hunting(or basically a sport) is disgusting. Hunting(don't care for it) is not the same. Hunting has to do with wild game... they help reduce the deer, wild turkey, and other wild animal population. With it out we would be over run by road kill. Hunting is more humane and usually serves a porpuse. Dog fight is torture.. these dogs do not die quick.. and suffer deep wounds and often infections.
If Mr. White thinks this dogfighting is a such an ok sport... Maybe he should train his human children to fight and maim each other to the death... I mean it's no different from hunting right?
Mr. White this has nothing to do with color. So, please does us all a favor and SHUT THE FXCK UP!

Drowning, hanging,choking,or shooting dogs is NOT the same as hunting. In hunting animals are given a fair advantage because they have the freedom to run and evade the hunters. . They are not deliberately confined or restrained like these pit bulls who were slaughtered. The hunter has to use his skills to track and then (hopefully) humanely kill the animal. There are seasonal limits of how much game a hunter is allowed to bag,

I read this today and yes he is a complete moron. Plus, the NAACP is saying that this whole thing with Vick may be a "racial issue." Whatever, who cares what color the man's skin is, what he did was wrong. Period. White or black and he should be punished and thrown into jail. The NFL should be allowed to fire him if they want. Vick is going to jail and the NFL shouldn't have to supply this convict with a job after his jail sentence.
