Yes and no. If the mother is a regular size chihuahua then yes. If the mother is the teacup it is a possibility of her having major complications during the birth. Those puppies will be too large. You should never breed a larger male to a smaller female. Even if it is just a pound difference!

There is no such thing as a teacup chihuahua. There are ONLY 2 types: long haired and short haired. If you own a so called "teacup" chihuahua, you have been ripped off into getting a sickly, undersized, expensive chihuahua with lots of medical issues. Dogs don't have wifes, they have mates that they don't have "love" feelings for. A good chihuahua should be not under 3 pounds! Don't be a backyard breeder and add to the numerous amounts of homeless dogs! Although you will make a profit, you are killing chihuahuas in shelters, for every family lost, there is one dog that dies! Be responsible.

Mate Tea Cup

Teacups are not a breed. Chihuahuas are chihuahuas. Teacup is a term given to the runts, by breeders out to make money.
Dogs don't need to have "children".
And just to answer the question-all dogs are the same species. That means they can mate with each other.
There are thousands too many dogs that don't have homes due to overbreeding. Get the dogs spayed and neutered :)

Any 2 dogs can breed. But why would you want to risk it. If your female is a lot smaller than the male, she could have serious, even deadly, birthing complications. A very tiny dog should never be bred. She might not even be able to carry the litter to term or give birth to them properly. Plus, there is no such thing as a teacup. Its just a fancy name to describe a runt or a poorly bred extra small dog.

First chihuahuas don't come in teacup, minitures or toys they are just chihuahuas.
There is a very good chance that the female will die if bred to your mail a female should be the same size or smaller never bigger.
Teh pups will be to large and she and the pups could die and if she is impregnated seh will need a c-section.
You also need to go back about 3 generations for size not just this generation.

There are 4,786 Chihuahuas and Chi mixes available for adoption on Petfinder.com:

These are only the dogs LUCKY enough to be rescued and offered a second chance at life. For every puppy you produce you doom a shelter dog to death because your puppy got the home. How can you do that and look at yourself in the mirror? PLEASE don't breed your pets. Your 'teacup' is an undersized runt and is not a good example of what a healthy Chi should be. For everyone's sake, please neuter/spay these dogs. If you really want another one or two so badly, click my link and adopt one.

SAVE A LIFE! DON'T MAKE MORE LIVES TO PUT AT RISK!!! Thank you!

Of course a "teacup" chihuahua can mate with a larger chihuahua. All dogs can mate with all other dogs.

However, there are many, many unwanted pets as it is. Please do not produce more puppies.

I don`t see why not since there are no such thing as tea cup pups... If the female is significantly smaller she may need some assisstance when she finally gives birth.
