I for one am sick of the immigration problem. I am becoming a minority in my own country. I'm not racist at all I have LEGAL mexican friends. But something really needs to be done. Sure they spend money in our country, they have to eat, wear clothing and have a roof over their head. I would love to know the total of the millions of our dollars that is being sent to Mexico through Western Union. There are so many in California there want be any water left there in 10 years .Hell there want even be Social Security for me when I get old enough to retire. God help you if you get in a car wreck caused by an illegal, your screwed, because they don't have insurance. Why in then hell want our government do something before we are in a depression??????

its funny how all of the liberals whine and complain "you know how many billions are being spent in iraq" yet they wrap their arms around these people who broke our laws coming here and drain our social systems and cheat the goverment out of tax money.

I would love to hear them wonder about how many billions are lost in taxes, health care for people who have not paid into it, court cost in trials of illegals who commit even more crimes once here, translators to help them while in court, money sent back to mexico to boost their ecomony.

You know we put taxes on foriegn goods brought into the us to be sold (import tax) this is to get americans to spend money on american stuff to keep the money in the states but that is usless when the crew hanging outside home depot is sending so much back to mexico.

oh for the one wondering how they affect the SS system without drawing from it. they do it by medical care that is used by them by working without paying into to SS and by making the goverment spend money on issues they create. the money for that has to come from somewhere and it is borrowed from SS

Does that mean that a bank robber has the right to do what they want with the money they get from a hiest? They broke the law coming here illegally, then continued to break the law by working illegally then broke the law even more by not paying taxes on the money. So at what point did they earn the money???

1. President Fox and the Mexican government benefit by pushing off as many of Mexico's extremely poor and poorly educated as possible. You wonder why? Because these illegal immigrants mail back an estimated 20 Billion dollars a year into the Mexican economy. President Fox also uses the US Social Services programs to benefit his Citizens ( illegal aliens in OUR country ) with US Tax Dollars to the tune of 70 BILLION dollars YEARLY.

2. President Fox has been spending millions in the USA to pro illegal immigration groups and an American based Ad agency to boost the perception of illegal immigration to trusting Americans. Its simply a business decision. Spend a few Million and he continues to get 20 Billion a year in returns. Is it any wonder that in one rally they are destroying American flags, made threats to hurt our economy and schools, then next all wearing white and drape themselves in American flags. They are well trained to "pull at the heart strings" of America for the sympathy vote. Don’t fall for it. Do what is right for AMERICA and what benefits AMERICA.

3. President Fox and the Mexican Government have been involved in all aspects of assisting these illegal aliens to enter our country. Even making a booklet to the poor to give hints on how to enter illegally, what to do, who to contact, dangers, if you get caught etc... Below is a copy of one of 32 page booklet.

AMEN! I myself am not prejudiced at all, in fact my grandchildren's father is a LEGAL Mexican. There are so many here in Texas too. I heard that 51% of the population in Dallas County is now Hispanic! And I was in a car wreck a month or so ago, the gentleman was clearly at fault as he hit me in the rear. Well, because he's not a legal citizen in OUR country, he doesn't feel he has to carry auto insurance, so I, the innocent party is out my $500 deductible, and he's off SCOT-FREE!!! We need the government to take a stand here!

I am sure someone will link you to the site with how many millions are sent home through Western Union. However, that number doesn't mean that it is all from undocumented. I western union money to mexico fairly often and I am definitely not illegal- or even Mexican. LOL. Social security will be gone anyway. The number of the baby boomers that will be going into it compared with the fewer children had by each generation makes it impossible to keep. And, I was recently in Laguna Beach for a week and seriously saw only 5 Latinos (I counted). LOL. I think it depends where you are, too.

Immigration is essential to a growing economy. Without it, America would have negative population growth, which really affects an economy- Italy's very sluggish economy is a prime example. Germany, with similar demographics, is allowing more immigration and is also expericencing an economic boom.

Stagnant population=stagnant economy. Ask the Japanese.

People come in illiegally. This is a problem, but not to the scope you fancy- Illiegal immigrants pay sales taxes, and many pay social security taxes (and since they have a fake SSN, that money just goes into Social Security, and bails the rest of us out when the time comes). Those that own homes (quite a few do) pay property taxes on them. Those that rent (the rest) have their landlord's property taxes passed on to them. If they're on somebody's payroll, they're inelligble for a tax return, and are thus paying more income tax than citizens.

Yes, people without legal status create problems. But are we being swamped? Absolutely not.

California's problems come more from people moving there from elsewhere in America than up from Mexico (Hispanic immigration is foucsed elsewhere these days).

Absolute and unadulterated nonsense. If we have a depression, it will be the illegals who drive our work force and probably prevent some of our oh-so-patriotic businesses from fleeing to Red China that we can thank for that...seriously, why the hatred? It is absolutely irrational when we're in such a hole internationally and contrary to all our best aspects that folks are now so upset about this issue. My wife is a 1st generation Mexican-American. She and all her siblings, while speaking Spanish to their folks, speak English amongst themselves and their children will be perfectly acclimated English speakers. Go back 100 - 150 years and the anti-immigration yahoos were making the same claims about how the Irish or the Italians or *(insert nationality/ethnicity here)* were going to destroy us!

Preach on sister!! Its sick that the limit of money that can be wired by money gram in the US is 300 a day. There are signs all over the check cashing stores in spanish saying "we know your family in latin america is important, send them 3000 for only 11.95. 11.95 for 3,0000!!!! It costs me 19.95 to send 50 bucks to my brother in Ohio. Its BS.

The illegals will not leave until we stop catering to them.
