No they are not harmful for dog my dogs love bananas as a treat i think they are actually healthy for them, just make sure you don't give him to much because if your dog is stomach sensitive it might get a upset stomach because bananas are a heavy fruit even for humans, as long as you don't feed your dog chocolate, grapes, onions, avocados, etc is safe.

Many folks at dog shows give their dog a banana prior to entering the ring. It's said that bananas have a calming effect on dogs (and on people).
Bananas will not harm your dog.

No, banana's are not harmful to dogs. My dog eats them all the time for snacks. He has seizures about every 4-6 month's. His vet said he couldn't eat regular dog snacks because of his condition. The vet said he could eat natural snacks like banana's and apples. So don't worry, all is well.

A little will be fine...even if he'd had a whole one, the worst he'd probably get is some gnarly diarrhea, or he may throw up, but no, a little bit is not harmful. In fact, my vet said that fruit makes ideal treats for dogs, with the exception of grapes for some reason.

I work at a pet food store and we sell chicken wraped around a piece of banana. This i pure organic banana not just banana flavor. In other words, Its safe! Thanks for asking

They are fine. I cut them up and freeze them as treats for my dogs they love the froze treats too.
